Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Rape arrest: Ian Lewis of the 1500 block of Sheffield Road was arrested Wednesday in the 3600 block of Woodland Ave. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of raping a woman in a house in the 3800 block of Oakford Road on Dec. 27. He was held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southwestern District

Arrest: A man charged in a warrant with rape surrendered himself Tuesday at the Warrant Apprehension Task Force office in the 200 block of W. 29th St. Willie Anderson, 21, of no known address, was charged with raping a woman in the 5100 block of Williston Road on Oct. 8. He was held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Central District

Bank robbery: A man robbed the Sun Trust Bank in the 100 block of E. Baltimore St. of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after giving a teller a holdup note.

Robbery/shots fired: Rafi Hadi, 23, was walking in the first block of W. Lafayette Ave. about 8 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of a cellular phone, his boots and $60. As Hadi fled, the gunman fired errant shots at him.

Cutting: Brian Neall, 40, of Glen Burnie, was walking with a friend in the 500 block of W. Fayette St. about 4 a.m. Wednesday when two men demanded Neall's pain medication. When he refused, one of the men knocked him to the ground and cut him on the right hand with an unknown weapon. The assailants fled, and Neall walked with his friend to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for treatment.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: Two teen-age boys armed with knives robbed a boy, 13, of a notebook in the 3900 block of Sybil Road about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The notebook was recovered nearby.

Burglary: Raimondi's Florist in the 3700 block of Old Court Road was broken into over the weekend by someone who stole $30 in change.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking two teen-age males, one armed with a shotgun, who robbed a 17-year-old of his cellular phone, a wallet with nearly $300, and clothing about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at a bus stop on Craigmont Road at Ingleside Avenue. The pair fled in a blue Oldsmobile.
