Youth group seeks auction donations to fund mission trips
The Youth Group of Nichols-Bethel United Methodist Church needs donations for an auction on March 13.
Funds raised will be used to send young people on two mission trips this summer. One group will go to Beaver, Ohio, to repair houses of poverty-stricken residents. Work will include roofing, carpentry and drywall repairs, as well as painting.
A second group will travel to Guatemala for a mission trip serving children in government-run daycare and orphanages, and to repair homes and schools in the poorest of areas of the country. Information: 410- 672-3783.

Two ministers join staff at Heritage Baptist Church
Heritage Baptist Church in Annapolis welcomes two new ministers this month.
Ralph Manuel comes to Heritage after 23 years of missionary work in Brazil, where he taught at North Brazil Baptist Theological Seminary and worked at Imperial Baptist Church of Recife, Brazil. Manuel is a published composer and arranger of sacred choral, vocal and keyboard music. He will begin his work as Heritage's minister of music next month.
Carol Seeley will join the church staff this month as minister of youth and children. Seeley recently completed her master of divinity degree from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C. Prior to attending Gardner-Webb, Seeley worked as a systems engineer manager with Electronic Data Systems in Herndon, Va. She has worked with youth and children's programs for the past 10 years in Virginia and North Carolina.

Mass: Our Lady of the Fields Church offers Mass at 6 p.m. Sundays, 1070 Cecil Ave., Millersville. Mass also is celebrated at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sundays. New location: New Hope Chapel, formerly of Edgewater, relocated its Sunday morning worship service to Anne Arundel Community College in the Florestano Building, near the west entrance to the Arnold campus.
