Two men sought in armed carjacking of SUV in Odenton

Anne Arundel County police were searching yesterday for two men accused of committing an armed carjacking in Odenton during the weekend.


A man was checking the oil level of his 2003 Ford Excursion by the road in the 100 block of Pine Cove Ave. when two men approached him about 7:15 p.m. Saturday, police said.

One of the men displayed a shotgun and demanded the vehicle. Both men got into the vehicle, without its owner, and drove off. The owner's bank card was used in Prince George's County about 18 minutes after the carjacking, police said.


The owner was not injured.

Registered sex offender arrested in sting operation

An Allegany County registered child sex offender was arrested Friday after an Anne Arundel police sting operation in which he is accused of trying to solicit sex from a woman and her 8-year-old daughter, police said.

Kelly Anthony Williams is charged with attempted second-degree rape and attempted second-degree sex offense.

Williams is accused of offering late last month to pay a Glen Burnie woman to have sexual intercourse with her and her daughter, police said. Detectives set up a covert operation at the woman's apartment that concluded about 2 p.m. Friday, police said.

Crofton man charged with stabbing girlfriend

A Crofton man has been charged with stabbing his live-in girlfriend in the face and neck early Sunday, police said.


About three hours after the 7:45 a.m. incident, police saw James Cleo Marshal, also known as Khalil A. Karim, 44, of the 2600 block of Carver Road, walking on U.S. 50 near Route 424, police said.

He was arrested without incident and has been charged with first- and second-degree assault and assault with intent to murder. His girlfriend, Robnita L. Boldin, 38, was in serious but stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
