Baltimore City


Northeastern District

Armed robbery: Two men robbed Aaron's Used Tires at gunpoint about 6:40 p.m. Saturday, and fled in a blue Honda. The store in the 500 block of E. 25th St. estimated its loss at $500.


Northern District

Robbery: A man was robbed of $230 in cash and $520 in jewelry early Saturday in the 500 block of McCabe Ave. The assailant asked the victim for a light, then placed a sharp object against his back.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man claiming to have AIDS threatened a cashier with a needle and robbed Santoni's Market in the 3800 block of E. Lombard St. of an undisclosed amount of money early Friday.

Burglary: Someone broke into a house in the 800 block of Oldham St. on Thursday and stole a small safe with 15 gold eagle coins valued at $5,100, other coins and several pieces of jewelry.

Burglary: Someone broke into Jim's Diner in the 4800 block of Holabird Ave. early Saturday and stole an unknown amount of money from its poker machines.

Robbery: A 56-year-old man told police he lost his wallet with $30 early Saturday to a heavyset female robber who knocked him to the ground in the 2200 block of Hudson St.

Eastern District


Robbery/arrest: A 32-year-old man was arrested after a midafternoon robbery Friday at a Burger King in the 1200 block of Orleans St. Police said a robber demanded money from an employee, then jumped over a counter and grabbed the cash from her hand. He was chased through the neighborhood by three employees, and caught and held for police inside a store in the 900 block of N. Caroline St. Jailed on several charges was Mark E. Lomax, 32, of the 400 block of Ilchester Ave.

Central District

Robbery: A woman was about to enter her home in the 2200 block of Eutaw Place about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday when a man knocked her to the pavement and stole a bag she was carrying that contained clothing valued at $100. The victim sustained minor head and face cuts during a struggle with the man.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed Nikki's Liquors in the 7500 block of Belair Road about 1:35 p.m. Thursday of an undisclosed sum of money. After one man approached the counter with a bottle of liquor, a clerk asked to see his identification. Instead, the man pulled a handgun, went behind the counter and removed money from a cash register.


Robbery: After a man requested cigarettes from an employee of the Shell gas station in the 2000 block of E. Joppa Road about 4:30 p.m. Thursday and gave the employee a $10 bill, the man pulled a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The gunman fled with an undisclosed sum.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A dirt bike with a white and pink seat and an oversized gas tank was stolen from a garage in the 5800 block of Westwood Ave. between Sept. 10 and Thursday.

Essex Precinct

Armed robbery: An attacker hit a woman over the head with a hard object about 11:40 p.m. Saturday and escaped with her purse, which contained a bank card and keys. The attack took place at Left Aileron Street and Fuselage Avenue.

Garrison Precinct


Burglary: Intruders ate food from the refrigerator, but took nothing else after breaking into a house on Western Winds Circle on Friday night.
