BWI wins five awards in marketing competition

Baltimore-Washington International Airport received five awards from Airports Council International-North America in the 2003 Excellence in Marketing and Communications Contest.

Two first-place awards, for photography and public relations campaigns, focused on public relations strategies to promote air cargo at the airport. BWI received a third first-place award for television advertising promoting parking at the new Daily A Garage.

In addition, BWI received a second-place award in marketing campaigns and a third-place award in color print advertising.

BWI was among 65 North American airports that entered the competition.
