On September 18, 2003 SISTER MARY WANDA SEKUTOWSKA, S.S.M.I., Age 87, a member of the Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate. Sister Wanda professed her religious vows in 1940 and served the majority of her religious life at the Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate Day Nursery (Polish Day Nursery) in Baltimore. Also a licensed Practical Nurse. Sister Wanda is survived by her brother, Edward Sekutowski and sister, Irene Bartnikowska as well as several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is the daughter of the late, John and Rose Sekutowski and was preceded in death by her sisters, Laura, Mary and Anna Sekutowska and brother, John Sekutowski. Friends may call at the family owned David J. Weber Funeral Home P.A., 401 S. Chester St., on Saturday from 3 to 7 P.M. where a Christian wake service will be held at 3 P.M. Viewing will resume at the Sister Servants Provincial House, 1222 Tugwell Dr., Catonsville, MD, 21228 on Sunday from 3 to 9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at St. Joseph Nursing Home Chapel at 10 A.M. Interment Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Nursing Home, at the above address.
