Arrest: Donte Pauling, 16, of the 1300 block of Mosher St. was arrested Saturday by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force while walking in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. He is charged in a warrant with attempted murder in the Sept. 6 shooting of a 17-year-old on a basketball court in the 1300 block of Harlem Ave. The victim was wounded in the right thigh in a shooting that police said stemmed from a fight between the two at a party the night before.
Rape: Police were seeking a man who forced a woman, 23, into the rear yard of a house in the 2200 block of Madison Ave. about 9 p.m. Saturday and raped her at gunpoint.
Robbery: Two women were walking in the 1100 block of Park Ave. about 12:15 a.m. Sunday when a man with a semiautomatic handgun robbed one of them of $17. When the second woman gave the gunman $3, he said, "What am I going to do with that?" He returned her money and fled.
Burglary: Someone entered the CVS Pharmacy in the 2500 block of N. Charles St. early Sunday after breaking a glass front door with a brick and stole cigarettes valued at $1,000.
Burglary: A flute, calculator, field glasses, video games and a bottle of vodka - all valued at $1,169 - were stolen over the weekend from an apartment in the 3000 block of St. Paul St.
Assault: Police were seeking a man named Nick who struck a woman, 39, several times with his crutch Saturday night in a house in the 3100 block of Greenmount Ave. The woman fled to a nearby fire station and was taken to Maryland General Hospital for treatment of cuts to the head.
Vandalism: Someone spray-painted a swastika and the words "black sheep" on an exterior wall of a leasing company in the 9600 block of Belair Road Sunday night.
Burglary: Heavy-duty extension cords valued at $90 were stolen Sunday from a shed in the 9900 block of Nearbrook Lane.
White Marsh Precinct
Assault/arrest: A 17-year-old male was attempting to leave Wal-Mart in the 6400 block of Petrie Way Sunday afternoon when he was stopped by an employee who suspected him of stealing items and asked to see a receipt. The youth threatened the employee with a knife, then was detained by store personnel and charged by police with first-degree assault.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: A lawnmower and several cases of beer and soda - all valued at $700- were stolen Sunday from a garage in the 1700 block of Leslie Ave.
Theft/arrests: Two teen-age girls were arrested Sunday when they tried to leave Value City at Eastpoint Mall without paying for a compact disc player, pens and other items - all valued at $83. The girls were released into their parents' custody.
Burglary: A leaf blower, miter saw and tools - all valued at $350 - were stolen from a shed in the 1300 block of Willow Road between Thursday and Sunday.
Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at $65 was stolen Sunday from a shed in the 500 block of 46th St.
