Shootings/arrest: A 41-year-old Baltimore County man has been arrested and charged in the shooting Tuesday night of two people in the 2100 block of Hollins St. The victims, Bernard Brogden, 16, and Titus Johnson, 20, were shot about 10:25 p.m. and were treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Arrested shortly after the shootings and charged with two counts of attempted murder and a handgun violation was Tracy Austin of the 4200 block of Dressage Court in Randallstown.
Robbery: Police were seeking a man who robbed Little Tavern in the 3500 block of Eastern Ave. of an undisclosed sum about midnight Tuesday while threatening an employee with a knife.
Theft: Tools valued at $380 were stolen Wednesday from a 1990 Dodge van parked in the first block of S. Exeter St.
Theft: Someone broke into a 1998 Ford sedan Wednesday in the 900 block of Watson St. and stole stereo equipment and compact discs valued at $1,725.
North Point Precinct
Shooting: A Randallstown man, 20, was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after being shot in the groin early yesterday at a Dundalk apartment. The victim, whose name was not released, was visiting friends in the 2900 block of Liberty Parkway when two men, one with a handgun, entered about 9:50 p.m. During a confrontation, the gunman shot the victim. The two men fled on foot. Police knew of no motive and had made no arrests.
Bank robbery: Two men in ski masks, one with handgun, robbed Mercantile Bank & Trust in the 6200 block of N. Charles St. of an undisclosed sum of money about 11:25 a.m. Wednesday. The robbers fled in a black Dodge Stratus.
White Marsh Precinct
Robbery: Police were seeking a gunman who robbed the Denny's restaurant in the 8000 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: A ceramic birdbath valued at $130 was stolen Tuesday from the rear porch of a house in the first block of Chriswell Court.
Burglaries: Someone broke into High's dairy store in the 3300 block of E. Joppa Road about 12:05 a.m. Wednesday after breaking the glass front door and stole several cartons of cigarettes. Fifteen minutes later and several blocks away, someone broke the front glass door of a CVS Pharmacy at Carney Shopping Center in the 9600 block of Harford Road and stole 27 cartons of cigarettes. It was not known whether the break-ins were related.
Robbery: While one man stood watch at the door, a male accomplice with a handgun removed an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register of a Royal Farms store in the first block of E. Timonium Road about 1 a.m. Wednesday. Both men fled on foot.
