Big rally keeps Lynx alive, 6-5

PAWTUCKET, R.I. — PAWTUCKET, R.I. - The Ottawa Lynx were three outs from elimination last night but rallied for four runs in the ninth inning and beat the Pawtucket Red Sox, 6-5, to cut their deficit to 2-1 in the best-of-five Triple-A International League semifinals.

Pawtucket, which had been no-hit by left-hander Matt Riley through seven innings, got its first hit in the eighth when Kevin Youkilis doubled off winning pitcher Tim Harikkala to drive in the first of five runs in the inning for a 5-2 advantage.

Ottawa, an Orioles affiliate, came back in the ninth with a walk, error, single, double, wild pitch and sacrifice fly amounting to four runs against three relievers.
