OTTAWA — OTTAWA - The Pawtucket Red Sox scored an unearned run in the 11th inning to beat the Ottawa Lynx, 4-3, last night and take a 1-0 lead over the Orioles' Triple-A International League affiliate in the best-of-five Governors' Cup semifinals.
Three of Pawtucket's runs resulted from errors.
Ottawa tied the game in the eighth with two runs against three pitchers.
Raul Casanova led the Lynx with three hits and two RBIs. Luis Lopez scored twice.
Jason Shiell earned the win with 2 2/3 innings of relief. Bryan Hebson got the save.
Mike Mohler took the loss.
