PAGE, BETTY JEAN

On August 27, 2003, BETTY JEAN PAGE, known to many as Mother Page, died of cancer at her home in Severna Park, MD, after a short illness. A resident of Severna Park since 1974, Mrs. Page was previously of Baltimore, MD. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Monroe Page, Sr.; mother of Maggie Turner, of Hampton, VA, three sons Monroe Page, Jr., of Jessup, MD, Antoine Page, of Kansas and Barnea Page of Columbia, MD; two daughters Vonango Owens, of Severna Park, MD and Tonya Lyons, of Pasadena, MD; three brothers William Turner, of Hampton, VA, Drew Turner, of Lee Hall, VA and Sammy Turner, of Hampton, VA; one sister Martha Turner, of Mitchellville, MD. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, two brother-in-laws, five sister-in-laws, four great-aunts, two god children and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and church family. A Christian Wake will be held on Monday, September 1, 2003, from 10 to 11 A.M., at the Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church, 429 Asbury Drive, Severna Park, MD, where funeral services will begin at 11 A.M. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, at 11 A.M. at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Rose of Sharon Apostolic Church, 62 Magothy Bridge Road, Severna Park, MD 21146.
