4 to be honored as Preservationist of the Year

Preservation Howard County has announced the winners of its Preservationist of the Year awards.

Historian Joetta Cramm, park planner Clara Gouin and restaurateurs Dan and Steve Wecker are taking home the honors this year for contributions to historic preservation. They will receive their awards at a ceremony from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at Belmont Conference Center in Elkridge.

Tickets for the event - a fund-raiser for Preservation Howard County - are $35. Reservations must be made by Sept. 10.
