Two women died over the weekend after the car one of them was driving ran a stop sign and their vehicles collided, Anne Arundel County police said yesterday.

Antonette Dangelo Bradford, 71, of Annapolis was driving west on Friendship Road about 4 p.m. Sunday when she ran a stop sign at Solomons Island Road, police said.

Bradford's Dodge collided with a 1987 Thunderbird driven by Carole Yvonne Lynn Caron, 43, of Glen Burnie, police said.

Bradford was pronounced dead at the scene.

Caron was flown to Prince George's Hospital Center, where she was pronounced dead.

A passenger in Bradford's car, Ellen Aola Keleher, 83, was flown to Washington Hospital Center, where she was reported in serious condition yesterday.

A passenger in Caron's car, 6-year-old Austin Tyler Samuel, was flown to Children's National Medical Center in Washington.

His injuries were reported as not life-threatening.

Police said neither speed nor alcohol was a factor in the accident.
