A woman was killed yesterday afternoon after she lost control of her 1999 Jeep Cherokee on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway near Security Boulevard, state police said. Police identified the driver as Deborah Neumann but declined to release her age or address.
Police said Neumann's Jeep veered off Interstate 695 about 4:30 p.m. just before the Security Boulevard exit at Woodlawn in Baltimore County. The vehicle went down an embankment and rolled several times before striking a utility pole and coming to a stop, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, police said.
