Power breakfast to be held tomorrow at Maritime Institute

The Baltimore/Washington Chamber of Commerce invites members and friends to participate in a power breakfast with eight other organizations from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Maritime Institute Conference Center, 5700 Hammonds Ferry Road, Linthicum.

The cost is $20 for prepaid members and $30 for nonmembers and members paying at the door.

Jack Ratzsch of The Daily Record will speak at the Chamber's Business Tools Group brown bag lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at chamber offices, 312 Marshall Ave., Suite 104, Laurel. He will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of television, radio and print advertising.

The cost is $10 in advance for members; $20 for nonmembers and those paying at the door. Participants can take a lunch.

The chamber will hold its monthly business mixer from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at Cross Creek Golf Club, 4701 Bay Hill Drive, Beltsville.

Merged law firm relocates to Wincopin Circle offices

The law firm of Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny LLC has relocated to 10211 Wincopin Circle. The move to new 7,000-square- foot offices completes the merger of two law firms.

Michael Davis, the firm's senior partner, heads the estate planning, probate and fiduciary litigation practice; Jeffrey Agnor heads the business and transactional law practice; Susan Rapaport heads the firm's community association law group; and Paul Skalny, the firm's managing director, heads the real estate, land use and litigation groups.

Exhibitors sought: Howard County Department of Citizen Services' Office on Aging is accepting applications from exhibitors for its 50+EXPO 2003, an event for the Howard County senior community. Last year's expo attracted more than 5,000 senior citizens and their families. The expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at Wilde Lake High School, 5460 Trumpeter Road, Columbia.
