Motorcyclist killed in crash with truck

A motorcyclist was killed in Baltimore at 4:20 p.m. yesterday when he ran into the back of a truck on Park Heights Avenue near Gwynns Falls Parkway, city police said.

The 27-year-old man, whose identity was withheld until his family could be notified, was riding south on Park Heights and "was going too fast," said Baltimore police spokesman Detective Donny Moses. "He literally broke his neck."

The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, Moses said.
