Rating the QBs
How the Ravens' quarterbacks stacked up in yesterday morning's team drills:
1. Chris Redman
Had one of his best practices of camp, stretching the defense repeatedly. Found a rhythm with Travis Taylor, hitting the receiver three times for 85 yards and two touchdowns. He also completed a deep pass to Marcus Robinson.
2. Anthony Wright
Ran the two-minute drill to near perfection against the backup defense, going 4-for-6 for 65 yards. He capped the drive by connecting with Randy Hymes on a 30-yard touchdown with six seconds remaining.
3. Kyle Boller
Another quiet day for the rookie. Would have had a more productive day if not for some dropped passes over the middle. Finished practice with a 10-yard touchdown pass to Todd Heap.
Thumbs up
Wright led a successful two-minute drill over the third-team defense, hitting Hymes for a touchdown. ... Redman and Taylor hooked up for a long touchdown on an out-and-up route over Arthur Smith and Will Demps. ... Ray Lewis nearly made an interception.
Thumbs down
Jamal Lewis did a lap around the field after a false start. ... Boller and Ryan Brewer fumbled an attempted flea-flicker. ... The reserve defensive backs allowed quarterbacks to complete passes left and right.
Quotable
"I believe in running the ball. I just want to let you know that." - Corey Fuller to Taylor in the team hotel lobby after running for a double-digit gain in the Madden 2004 video game.
