Position: Wide receiver
Who he is: Signed by the Ravens in May as a rookie free agent, Opara is the only Baltimore native on the Ravens' roster. A Lutherville resident and high school standout at Gilman, Opara finished his four years at Princeton with 154 catches for 2,198 yards and 10 touchdowns. He led the Tigers in receptions in three of his four years.
On joining the Ravens: "It's incredible. If you had asked me in high school if I would have had this opportunity now, I would have said, 'No way.' But I worked hard, and this is my dream, just coming up here."
On playing against Buffalo in the first preseason game: "The moment I stepped onto that field, after sitting in the nose-bleed sections for so long, the energy was just amazing. Seeing Ray [Lewis] do his thing with the grass brought out so much electricity, but then it all slowed down and it was just football again."
The best part of training camp: "There's no one part of training camp that sticks out for me. Every day I'm out here is a blessing. I'm just living my dream."
