Rating the QBs
How the Ravens' quarterbacks stacked up in yesterday morning's team drills:
1. Chris Redman
Engineered a 35-yard drive in a hurry-up drill against the first-team defense, which put the offense in range for a 42-yard field goal. Despite constant pressure, he threw a 13-yard pass to Randy Hymes and a 10-yarder to Ron Johnson. In another drill, he found Travis Taylor for an 18-yard gain.
2. Kyle Boller
Remained relatively quiet with fewer reps. In what has become a daily occurrence, he connected on a deep pass, a 40-yard throw down the sideline to Hymes. The rookie had to stretch forward on one play to make a handoff and fell on his face.
3. Anthony Wright
Primarily ran the scout team.
Thumbs up
Tony Weaver had a couple of good rushes on the quarterback, one time coming against Orlando Brown. ... Hymes made the catch of practice, snatching a 40-yard pass over the outstretched hands of Airabin Justin.
Thumbs down
For a padded practice moved 45 minutes away to M&T; Bank Stadium, the Ravens allowed hardly any hitting.
Quotable
"Way to get him, Bright. TT, you got checked by Bright." -- Cornerback Chris McAlister, praising Lamont Brightful's defense on Travis Taylor in the afternoon practice.
