Belly up to the bar for Trivia Bowl

Watch locals show off their nerdiness Sunday at Trivia Bowl 5.

Champions Billiards Bar & Sports Cafe in Parkville is host of the event, which will pit teams of as many as 10 know-it-alls against one another as they attempt to answer a battery of tough questions.

Topics ranging from world geography to '80s TV will be covered at the competition, which begins at 5 p.m.

So stop by, have a beer and find out if you could match wits with the top chock-full-of-useless-knowledge bunch, who'll walk away with $1,000 in prize money.

Punk out at the Ottobar

Punk icons Down by Law will punish the Ottobar Sunday.

The veteran rockers, who recently released their first record in four years, will headline the bill, which also features Pseudo Heroes, National Razor fdic and the No Class Heroes.

Fidel will rock out tomorrow at the Royal.

The Baltimore band has shared the stage with numerous national acts, including Jimmy Eat World and SR-71.

But tomorrow, it's all local, baby.
