Ottawa 2, Syracuse 1: The visiting Lynx (63-60) tied it in the ninth and scored the game-winner in the 12th Bill Pulsipher (3-5) got the win and Aaron Rakers earned his first save. John Wasdin (1-1) took the loss.

Double-A Eastern League

Altoona 6, Bowie 3: The host Curve (67-53) scored five runs in the sixth en route to a win between South Division rivals. Sean Burnett (12-5) got the win and Jeff Wilson (4-6) took the loss. The Baysox (60-62) scored single runs in the fourth, sixth and seventh innings.

Single-A Carolina League

Potomac 5, Frederick 0: Winner Edward Valdez (3-1) pitched seven innings, gave up four hits, two walks and struck out nine as the host Cannons (23-27) shut out the Keys (26-24) at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, Va. The Cannons have taken the first two of the three-game series. Nick McCurdy (1-6) took the loss as he went six innings, allowing two runs on nine hits. He struck out four and walked one.

Single-A New York-Penn League

Williamsport 13, Aberdeen 4: The IronBirds' franchise-record six-game winning streak came to a halt as the host Crosscutters (34-21) pounded out 19 hits and 13 runs. Izzy Molina led Aberdeen (29-26) with two hits and a run scored.
