Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Arrest: Keith Love, 20, of no fixed address, was arrested Monday in Woodlawn by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder in the shooting July 29 of Thabiti Wheeler, 24, in the 5100 block of Oaklawn Ave. Love was arrested and held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Eastern District

Shooting/arrests: Raymond Cherry, 20, was walking near Madison Street and Belnord Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Monday when he was shot in the head by a gunman, who, along with two accomplices, fled in a white Mercury automobile. Cherry was treated for a graze wound and released. Police stopped a car at Ashland Avenue and Caroline Street, arrested three occupants on charges of attempted murder and seized a 9mm handgun.

Southeastern District

Shooting: A 16-year-old boy was shot in the buttock by an older male about 11:30 p.m. Sunday while sitting on a bench in the 200 block of S. Spring Court in the Perkins Homes public housing complex. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Burglary: Two men broke into a shed in the 1200 block of Dilbert St. early Monday and stole a red Aggressor mountain bike valued at $750.

Larceny: Someone entered a Nissan parked in the 700 block of S. Highland Ave. Monday afternoon and stole a Sony CD stereo player valued at $350.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Cutting/arrest: Kendrick Turner, 15, of the first block of Seamus Court was arrested Monday afternoon and charged as an adult with attempted murder in the cutting earlier that day of a 16-year-old boy outside a house in the 7100 block of Rutherford Green Circle.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Thieves broke into Westview Motors in the 5600 block of Baltimore National Pike between Sunday night and Monday morning and stole three vehicles, Maryland license plates, vehicle titles and 27 sets of keys.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Several intruders broke into L'Hirondelle Club in the 7600 block of L'Hirondelle Club Road between 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, using a deck chair to smash through a window. An unknown quantity of food, wine and beer was stolen from the club's kitchen.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Two chain saws, a level and an air compressor - all valued at $3,200 - were stolen Monday from a house under construction in the 17100 block of Troyer Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: At least $200 and a check were stolen Monday from Lakeside Cleaners in the 9300 block of Lakeside Blvd. by someone who broke the front window with a piece of concrete.
