Northern District
Hit-run fatality: The body of an unidentified middle-age man was found on the North Avenue entrance ramp to the Jones Falls Expressway at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, the apparent victim of a hit-and-run driver. The incident remained under investigation yesterday.
Burglary: Police responding to a building alarm at 4:30 p.m. Saturday found a door propped open and a courtyard window smashed at GreenMount School in the 500 block of W. 30th St. No property was reported missing.
Southeastern District
Assault and robbery: Two 17-year-old boys were arrested at 6:25 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of E. Lombard St., minutes after they allegedly grabbed a 57-year-old pedestrian around the neck and robbed him. The stolen belongings, including cash, a cell phone and bus pass, were found on the suspects.
Stolen vehicle: A silver 1999 Subaru with a Pennsylvania license tag was stolen from the 2100 block of E. Baltimore St. sometime between 5 p.m. Friday and 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
Western District
Shooting: A man suffered a graze wound to his head in a shooting in the 100 block of N. Fremont Ave. about 3 a.m. yesterday. The victim was taken to University of Maryland Medical Center.
Stolen vehicle: A green four-door 1994 Mitsubishi was reported stolen from the 600 block of Cumberland St. between 1 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. Thursday.
Northeastern District
Bank robbery: Two men, one of them showing a semiautomatic handgun, robbed the Harbor Bank of Maryland branch in the 3200 block of Belair Road of an undisclosed amount of money about 12:35 p.m. Thursday. When they entered the bank, one of the men approached a teller while the other confronted the bank manager. Both demanded money.
Theft: Four juveniles stole two 20-inch bicycles valued at $280 from the driveway of a home in the 6800 block of Moyer Ave. about 8:40 p.m. Thursday.
Baltimore County
Towson Precinct
Vehicle theft: A 2003 Jeep Liberty was taken from a parking lot at Greater Baltimore Medical Center about 6:15 p.m. Thursday.
Garrison Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a rear sliding door of a home on the 300 block of Coppermill Court in Owings Mills between 7:20 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. Thursday and took a cellular phone and several digital video discs.
Burglary: A thief climbed onto an apartment balcony in the first block of Woodstream Court in Owings Mills about 3:30 p.m. Thursday and took a Prowler child trailer for a bicycle, valued at $100.
