Geo-Technology Associates promotes Paul Scott

Geo-Technology Associates Inc. promoted Paul Scott to associate at the geotechnical and environmental engineering and consulting firm based in Abingdon, in Harford County.

A Bel Air resident, Scott earned his master's degree from the University of Arizona. He performs groundwater impact studies and resources development, contamination and transport evaluations.

Campbell names Joyner account coordinator

The Campbell Group named Dionne Joyner to the staff of the Inner Harbor-based advertising and public relations agency as an account coordinator. She develops plans, contracts and reports, and monitors client projects.

A graduate of Morgan State University, Joyner was formerly with Radio One and Aflac Insurance Co.

Borges joins Ober/Kaler as litigation associate

Ober/Kaler announced the admission of Elissa F. Borges to the Baltimore law firm. She will practice in business, commercial and employment law.

A University of Baltimore law graduate, the Baltimore County resident is active in the Maryland and Baltimore bar associations, and serves on the judicial selections committee. She is also a fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation and on the boards of the Maryland Committee for Children and the Catholic Community School.

1st Mariner names Ronson development vice president

1st Mariner Bank appointed Anne-Marie Ronson as vice president of business development for the bank. A graduate of Towson University, the Baltimore resident acts as a liaison for the branch network and the commercial-lending department, and develops new business relationships through the bank's deposit, lending and investment services.
