The Red Hot Chili Peppers take the stage at Nissan Pavilion in Manassas, Va., on Sept. 6.

Richie Havens performs at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts in Owings Mills Oct. 25. Call 410-356-7469.

R. Kelly will perform at the MCI Center in Washington Aug. 22.

Britney Spears, along with Mary J. Blige, will perform a free concert Sept. 4 on the National Mall in Washington. The show, which kicks off the 2003 National Football League season, also features a tribute to U.S. troops, and will air on ABC before the game between the Washington Redskins and New York Jets.
