The Carroll County 4-H/FFA Fair runs through Friday at the Carroll County Agriculture Center on Smith Avenue in Westminster.
Activities for the family will be offered, from 4-H exhibits to food, concerts, contests and demonstrations.
The schedule is:
Today: Cake Auction and Horse Pull Day
8 a.m. -- Western horse show.
9 a.m. -- Market swine fitting and showing, followed by market pairs and producer classes.
9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. -- Food exhibits entered and judged.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- Poultry exhibits entered.
11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. -- Medford and Nathan Blizzard Hall closed to prepare for Cake Sale.
1:30 p.m. -- Champion foods photos.
2 p.m. to 3 p.m. -- Extension Office Rooms A and B open to public to view edible art and decorated cakes.
5 p.m. -- Market swine show.
6:30 p.m. -- Bake sale of items not in auction.
7 p.m. -- Cake auction in the activity tent.
7 p.m. -- Horse pull in the Horse Show Ring.
8 p.m. to 9 p.m. -- Entertainment with Josh Norris' Magic Show on the main stage.
Tomorrow: Mule Pull and Senior Citizens' Day
7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. -- Senior citizen exhibits entered and judged.
8 a.m. to 10 p.m. -- Indoor Exhibit Building open.
9 a.m. -- Informal demonstrations in Blizzard Hall.
9 a.m. -- Beef cattle fitting and showing.
10 a.m. -- Poultry judging contest.
10 a.m. to noon -- Small pet exhibits entered and judged.
1 p.m. -- Written rabbit judging contest.
1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. -- Senior citizen social time in Extension Office Rooms A and B.
4 p.m. -- Poultry exhibit judging.
6 p.m. -- Market beef show.
6:30 p.m. -- Grandparents' contest in the activity tent.
7 p.m. -- Mule pull.
7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. -- Entertainment by Two Timing (island music).
8:30 p.m. -- Mile High Jumping Mules (immediately after mule pull).
Friday: Pit beef and pork dinner and livestock sale day
9 a.m. -- Dairy cattle fitting and showing contest and dairy cattle show.
9 a.m. -- Tractor operator contest in the Horse Show Ring.
3 p.m. -- Shepherd's lead contest in the Activity Tent.
4 p.m. to 8 p.m. -- Pit beef and pork dinner (all you can eat) in the Dining Hall. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
4:30 p.m. -- Livestock buyer appreciation picnic.
5:30 p.m. -- Livestock sale.
7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. -- Entertainment by an oldies band.
8 p.m. to 1 a.m. -- 4-H/FFA Dance in the Therapeutic Riding Building.
10 p.m. -- Raffle drawing.
