THEODELL CATHERINE (nee McCord) SCHMIDT, 79, was born in Altoona PA on Feb. 26, 1924, the daughter of Howard and Mary McCord. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 25, 2003 in Patten. Teddy was a faithfully long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Michael's, Overlea in Maryland before moving to Maine with her Beloved husband Richard H. Schmidt St., and their children. She soon became a devout member of the St. Paul's Parish in Patten. She also was the president of the Patten Senior Citizens for 18 years. Due to her love of children, Teddy was a volunteer with the Patten school system for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Richard. Surviving are her children Sueann and Fleetwood Anderson of Patten, Cynthia and Charles Isenhour of Maryland, Viki and Fulton Anderson, Sally and John Marr, and Richard and Theresa Schmidt, Sr. all of Patten. She is also survived by her only brother H. Richard and his wife Frans McCord of Florida; 12 grandchildren, Paul and Lisa Schnither of Maryland, Rodney and Wendy Anderson, Melissa and Kevin McGraw, Tiffany and Scott Kaelin all of Patten, Nicole and Pat O'Roak of Bangor, Eliza and Paul Jacobson of Ellsworth, Richard III and Eryn of Patten, Michael and Maranda of Sherman Mills, Amanda and Travis Lane of Monroe, Logan Anderson of Patten, Lori Isenhour of Maryland and Amy and Andy Mummert of Maryland. 11 great grandchildren, Douglas Schnither of Penn., Jaimee and Samantha Shaffert of Maryland, Jordan Anderson of Patten, Sabrina and Brady Kaelin of Patten, Emelia and Myrah OM-mRoak of Bangor, Devin and Eryca McGraw of Patten, Shaylee Anderson of Bangor and Emory and Eliza Mummert of Maryland; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A special family friend, Susan McAvoy of Benedicta. Friends may call Monday 3-8 P.M. at the home of John and Sally Maur. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 A.M. at St. Pauls Catholic Church with the Father Eddy Morrin officiating. Interment will be in the Patten Cemetery.
