Fireworks on board
Celebrate Independence Day aboard the Constellation.
The festivities will include a cookout, live music, tours and, of course, fireworks. For those 6 and over, admission fees vary depending on membership status and age. Children ages 5 and under are free. The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

BSO summer series
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra kicks off its summer concert series with performances today and tomorrow at Oregon Ridge State Park.
The BSO will perform "Star Spangled Spectacular" at 8 p.m. both nights, followed by a fireworks display.
Same-day tickets are $17 for adults and $8 for children. Parking is $10 per car.

Jazz up the Fourth
Jazz, soul and R&B; acts will perform at Six Flags America prior to the amusement park's annual fireworks display.
The Paradise Island Wave Pool stage is the arena for the evening event, which begins at 4:30 p.m. Steve Oliver, Kim Waters and other musicians will perform until 8:30 p.m., when the fireworks display takes center stage. The 4th of Jazz is free with paid admission to the park.

Dress your pet and strut your stuff tomorrow at the American Visionary Art Museum's seventh annual pet parade.
Prizes will be awarded in a number of categories, including "Most Patriotic," "Best Heinz 57 Variety" and "Best Owner and Pet Look-Alike." Registration for the 10 a.m. parade begins at 9:30 a.m. A talent show and trick session will also take place at this free event.

Historic Annapolis will celebrate America's birthday with a Fourth of July parade and other festivities. Around 5 p.m., the celebratory procession will wind its way down West Street to Church Circle and through the tiny streets, ending at the city dock, where a concert will take place. Fireworks cap the evening of fun at 9:15 p.m.

America in Frederick
Frederick commemorates the Fourth of July this year with its 20th anniversary celebration.
From noon to 10:30 p.m., Baker Park will be alive with four stages of music, plus children's activities, sports tournaments, a chili cookoff and other activities. The 1970s rock group America will perform on the main stage at 3:30 p.m. There is no admission charge for this event.
