Baltimore City

Southern District

Arrest: Darnell Edmond, 20, of the 3400 block of Spelman Road in Cherry Hill was arrested yesterday on nearby Coppin Court by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with attempted murder and a handgun violation. He is accused in the shooting March 19 of a man, 43, on Coppin Court.

Robbery: A man, 42, was standing outside his 1998 Chevrolet truck in the 1200 block of Ward St. on Sunday and talking to a prostitute when a man shoved a handgun in his face and robbed him of $40 and the truck with Florida tag H87JMH.

Southeastern District

Robbery/arrest: A 13-year-old boy was grabbed around the neck and robbed of $4 about 7 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of N. Highland Ave. Arrested and charged with unarmed robbery was Neal Tuck, 18, of the 3400 block of E. Lombard St.

Robbery: A woman was standing in the 3800 block of Eastern Ave. about 5:20 p.m. Sunday when a man grabbed her around the neck and stole her purse containing immigration papers and other cards and documents.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man, 53, was robbed of $35 behind the 3000 block of Mayfield Ave. about 2 a.m. Sunday by a man who threatened to strike him in the face.

Stolen vehicle: A black 1996 Jeep Cherokee with Pennsylvania tag DKJ 5620 was stolen during the weekend in the 4900 block of Goodnow Road.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Murder try: A 29-year-old man was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being stabbed in the chest by another man in the first block of Eastbend Court about 1 a.m. Sunday.

Parkville Precinct

Stabbing: Two men were arguing in Tee Bee's Place, a bar in the 7100 block of Darlington Drive, about 12:30 a.m. Saturday when one stabbed the other in the chest, arm and back with a knife. Arrested there and charged with attempted murder was Donald Madison, 50, of the 5800 block of Edgepark Road. The victim, Edward Stanley, 35, of the 1300 block of Halsted Road, was in serious condition at Shock Trauma.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A 10-horsepower snow blower valued at $1,600 was stolen from a barn in the 16300 block of Old York Road between Feb. 2 and Sunday.

Towson Precinct

Theft: While a man slept at his home in the 1300 block of Mantle St. early Sunday, a woman he had met several hours earlier apparently stole his keys and white 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix with tags HVZ 921.
