On Saturday, February 22, 2003, CHAPELLEARMSTEAD; loving wife of the late Joseph Armstead, Sr.,; devoted mother of Marcia Armstead Ivy, of California, Dorothuy Armstead, Helen Campbell and husband Reginald, Joseph Armstead, Jr., and wife Gaystella. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Harper and Wilkie Jasey, two brothers, Roosevelt McMillan and Takbir Yasin, all of New Jersey, ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services at Heritage United Church of Christ, 3110 Liberty Heights Avenue, on Saturday, March 1. Wake at 10 A.M. Service to follow at 11 A.M. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
