On February 21, 2003, MERLE CATHERINE (nee Reed); beloved wife of the late S. Walter Bowers, Jr.; devoted mother of Beverly A. Mirable and her husband Jim and Carol A. Hoffman and her husband Tom; dear grandmother of Michael Morgan, Dean Morgan, Karen Maly, Cheryl Troska, Sandra Butler and the late Bruce Morgan. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
