Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man was standing in the 2500 block of Garrett Ave. about 7:50 last night when an unknown assailant shot him in the abdomen. The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital. His condition was unknown.

Northern District

Robbery: A man entered the Cloud 9 clothing store in the 800 block of W. 36th St. in Hampden about 3 p.m. yesterday, looked at merchandise for a few minutes, then displayed a knife and forced a female clerk to give him the contents of the cash register. He fled with more than $100.

Central District

Burglary: Someone broke into Oriole Pizza in the 1300 block of N. Charles St. early Wednesday and removed a cash register containing about $300.

Northwestern District

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money and a quantity of cigarettes and cigars were stolen early Wednesday from Food Stop Mart in the 4900 block of Liberty Heights Ave.

Southeastern District

Theft from vehicle: Someone broke into a van parked in the 4300 block of E. Fayette St. Wednesday and stole power and hand tools.

Southwestern District

Theft from vehicle: A walkie-talkie and a wallet containing an undisclosed sum of cash were stolen early yesterday from a 2000 Freightliner tractor parked in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave.

Eastern District

Stabbing: An unidentified man was treated last night at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a stab wound after an incident about 6:30 p.m in a third-floor room of a house in the 1600 block of E. North Ave. Details were not immediately available.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Bank robbery: A man who apparently was unarmed used a note to rob a teller at First Union Bank in the 1800 block of Reisterstown Road about 11:35 a.m. Wednesday. He fled with an undisclosed sum.

Towson Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A green 1997 Infiniti with South Carolina tag 140 LXA was abandoned in deep snow at Loch Raven Boulevard and Deanwood Road overnight Sunday. When the owner returned Wednesday to remove it, the car was gone. After police learned it had not been towed, they listed it as a stolen vehicle.

Essex Precinct

Stabbing: Police were seeking four men, one with a handgun and another a knife, who forcibly entered a house Wednesday night in the 1400 block of Winter Park Circle. During a confrontation with the men, the male occupant was stabbed. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
