Bank robbery: About 11:35 a.m. yesterday, a man entered Allfirst Bank at University of Maryland Medical Center in the first block of S. Greene St. and ordered a teller to give him money. The robber, who implied that he had a gun, fled with an undisclosed sum.
Arrest: Early Tuesday, police arrested a man armed with a cocked and loaded .45-caliber handgun in the 3000 block of Eastern Ave. and charged him with illegal possession of the weapon and aggravated assault. Police said he told them he was seeking another man with whom he had a dispute. Arrested and taken to Central Booking and Intake Center was Craig S. Raspitha, 39, of the 2700 block of Eastern Ave.
Rape: A 17-year-old girl said a man she thought was giving her a ride to work about 11:20 a.m. yesterday instead drove her to the 3300 block of Annapolis Road, where she was raped and left as he drove away. He was driving a blue Toyota automobile. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center and released.
Robbery: A 19-year-old woman answered a knock at her door in the 3400 block of Sixth St. about 12:20 a.m. yesterday and a gunman forced his way in and robbed her of a cellular phone valued at $60.
Burglary/vandalism: Police were seeking the former tenants of a house in the 2900 block of Independence Ave. after the house was entered through a window Tuesday and $2,000 in damage was done to walls, an appliance and pipes. The break-in was reported by the landlord.
Burglary: A chainsaw and a tarpaulin were stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 6500 block of Glennor Ave.
Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed a 7-Eleven in the 1100 block of E. Cold Spring Lane of $40 Tuesday night.
Robbery: A man, 40, and a woman, 44, were walking along Gunview Road near Millner Road about 7 p.m. Tuesday when three males, one with a knife, stepped from a car and robbed them of $80 in valuables and cash.
Burglary: A snowblower valued a nearly $1,600 was stolen Tuesday from the driveway of a house in the 1000 block of Greenhill Farm Road.

Robbery: Police were seeking four young males who assaulted a 21-year-old man outside the food court at White Marsh Mall about 7 p.m. Tuesday and robbed him of his keys and a pack of cigarettes.

Burglary: Someone entered Gunpowder Rapids Restaurant in the 12600 block of Belair Road between 2:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. yesterday after breaking the front door and stole an undisclosed sum from a cash register.
