On February 8, 2003, CLETA A. MILLER (nee Young), a World War II Veteran who served as an Army nurse in the Central European Campaign and was awarded the American Campaign Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal; devoted wife of John E. Miller, whom she married during the war in Bad Ibling, Germany in 1945; loving mother of Brad Miller, Toy Mitchell, Kim Miller and Garth Miller; dear grandmother of Kendra and Brandon Mitchell and Jordan and Dulaney Miller. A gathering of friends will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road, (beltway Exit 26A), on Tuesday from 2 to 4 P.M. Interment private. If desired, please make a contribution to a favorite charity in Cleta's name.
