On Sunday, February 9, 2003, EDITH C. CLUM, 87, of Pocomoke City and formerly of Towson, died at Peninsula Regional Medial Center in Salisbury. Born in Hyattsville, MD, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruby Beeman Coleman. Her husband, Russell W. Clum, preceded her in death. Mrs. Clum was a former member and past president of the Providence Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary; Docent at Hampton Mansion and was a volunteer at the Fire Museum of Maryland. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert W. Clum and Vi of Pocomoke City and Richard Cumberland and Jan of Hyco Lake, NC; a favorite niece, Lois Fellows of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; two brother and a sister preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 2 P.M., at the Holloway Melson Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, where family and friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 P.M. and one hour prior to the service. Lois Ann Fellows will officiate. Interment will take place at the Rockville Cemetery in Rockville, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 415 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 or to the American Lung Association, 1840 York Road, Suite M, Timonium, D 21093 or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Holloway Melson Funeral Home, 103 Linden Avenue, Pocomoke City, MD.
