East Columbia

Waterloo Road: 5600 block, Long Reach. Someone stole jewelry worth more than $20,000 from a home Jan. 22.

Cloudleap Court: 8700 block, Long Reach. Someone stole an Xbox video game station and video games from an apartment Thursday.

Guilford Road: 8600 block, Kings Contrivance. A man apparently armed with a submachine gun robbed a Mail Boxes Etc. of $400 Friday. He was wearing panty hose around his eyes and nose and was dressed in a sweat jacket, jeans and dark-colored gloves.

Columbia Crossing: 6200 block, Long Reach. A man armed with a handgun stole an undisclosed amount of cash from an Amoco gas station Monday. The man fled in a car.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Marshalee Drive: 6000 block, Elkridge. Two men driving a blue car stole four laptop computers and cash from a vending machine at General Physics Corp. on Jan. 22.
