On January 25, 2003, EDITH DORIS DIXON of Sykesville, beloved wife of the late Oscar Dixon, devoted mother of Oscar "Butch" Dixon, Jr., Richard Dixon, Doris Audrey Forsyth and Patricia Ann Green, loving mother-in-law of Dorothy "Dot" Dixon, Patty Dixon, and Mickey Green, dearest sister of Evelyn Buckless and Helyn G. Pessaro. Also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandsons, Ronald Dixon and Billy Forsyth and by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 A.M. from Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Rt. 32 near Eldersburg. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
