THE BALTIMORE SUN

DONALD R., 78, was born on September 21, 1924, in Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2003, in Dallas, Texas; after a brief illness. Don was a loving and affectionate husband to his beautiful wife Jan, very happily married for 50 years, and a wonderful father and grandfather. His gentle and guiding presence will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The son of the late John and Margaret Miller, Don was preceded in death by Jan, his beloved wife who passed away in May 2002, and survived by his children, Deborah P. Miller and Donald R. Miller, Jr., and his wife Martha. His grandchildren, Trey, Carla, Chris, and Dulaney Miller; his nephews, Edward McNicholas, Thomas Miller, and John Miller; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Engel; his sister-in-law Dorothy Rothenhoefer, and her husband and four daughters; and a large extended family and friends. His life was remembered at a Memorial Service held on Friday, January 24, 2003 at Fellowship Bible Church of Dallas, with Senior Pastor Bill Counts officiating. RICHARD T. RIGGIE, JR., 61, of Westminster, died January 24, 2003 after an extended illness.
