Wolfe, Evelyn Reid

EVELYN REID WOLFE, 94, of Buck Hill Falls, PA and formerly of Baltimore, MD, died Friday, January 10, at home. She was the widow of J. Theodore Wolfe, former Chairman of the Board of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of William C. and Sadie E. (Clayton) Reid. She lived many years in the Roland Park/Guilford area of Baltimore graduating from the Baltimore Friends School and the Maryland Institute College of Art. She was a devoted member and Elder of the Second Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, a member of the Womans Club of Roland Park, and the Elkridge Club. She had long been associated with the United Fund, The American Red Cross and several other civic organizations. She moved from Baltimore to Buck Hill Falls in 2000. She is survived by a son, William C. Wolfe and a daughter, Mary Ellen Wolfe Christman of Buck Hill FAlls, two grandchildren Courtney Lyman Christman of Buck Hill Falls and Clayton Wolfe Christman, and his wife, Evelyn, of Canadensis, PA. On January 14, 2003, GEORGE H. WOODWARD, beloved husband of Doris C. Woodward (nee Wellslager), devoted son of Hilda Woodward and the late George C., loving father of Richard A. Woodward, Jeanne Rivkin and her husband Robert. Loving step-father of Marsha Stoffa and her husband Joseph, Jeff Quante, III and his wife Bonnie and Donna Quante.
