THE BALTIMORE SUN

Nancy Lawrence Moore, a former Realtor and homemaker, died of a heart attack Saturday at her Towson home. She was 61.

Born Nancy Evelyn Lawrence in Baltimore, she was raised on Blenheim Road in the city's Pinehurst section. She was a 1959 graduate of Notre Dame Preparatory School and attended Villa Julie College.

She was married in 1961 to Richard W. Moore Sr., a Baltimore attorney, who survives her.

After raising her children, Mrs. Moore earned a real estate license and worked for 11 years in sales in the Roland Park office of O'Conor, Piper and Flynn. She retired in 1995.

An avid golfer, Mrs. Moore was a member of the ladies' 18-hole group at the Baltimore Country Club and Country Club of Maryland. In the winter, she and her husband played golf in Puerto Rico.

"She was proud of her two holes in one," her husband said.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at a home the couple maintained in Stone Harbor, N.J., and liked playing bridge.

Mrs. Moore was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Baltimore and Ware avenues in Towson, where a Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. today.

Other survivors include a son, Richard W. Moore Jr. of Towson; a daughter, Molly Lawrence Halleron of Lutherville; a sister, Sally Ann Lawrence of Timonium; and four grandchildren.
