She was an Englich teacher for the Baltimore County School system, a member of the Ladies Maritime Commission, the Alumni Association of Misericordia College and Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church. Her hobbies included bridge, reading and golf. Her husband of 57 years, George Phillips, died in 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Marylou Donlin of Sherwood Forest and Patricia Chilcoat of Towson; three grandchildren, Amie Chilcoat Rodriguez, James Donlin, Jr. and Patrick Donlin; two great grandchildren, Rhys Rodriguez and Noel Sawickic.
