Single-car accident on I-70 kills man

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A man was killed last night when his car skidded while heading east on Interstate 70, struck a median and overturned in Mount Airy, state police.

Icy and wet road conditions might have contributed to the one-car accident, which occurred about 10 p.m. in Carroll County, said Sgt. James W. Long, a state police spokesman in the Westminster barracks.

State police were investigating the accident late last night and could not identify the driver, who was alone in the car.
