It may seem as though all trees look the same in the wintertime: bare and leafless. So how do you tell one tree from the next if they have no leaves? Actually, it's not as hard as it seems.

Learn all about identifying trees in the winter at the program "Winter Tree Mystery" Sunday at the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center in Abingdon. Children ages 6 to 10 can join a naturalist to look at trees in Leight Park and discover clues to the trees' identities - from their bark to their twigs.

Kids will discover at close inspection how very different one tree is from another.
