Police were seeking yesterday a man and a woman after an armed robbery at an Odenton video store during the weekend.
As three employees of Blockbuster Video in the 1400 block of Annapolis Road were about to close the store shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, a man and a woman approached the counter with videos.
The man displayed a handgun, then forced the employees to walk to an office in the rear of the store, where their hands and feet were bound.
The robbers took three Sony PlayStation systems and an undisclosed amount of cash and fled, police said. About 15 minutes later the employees freed themselves and called police.
Anne Arundel County police had made no arrest in the incident yesterday evening. They are looking for a white male in his late 30s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with brown hair. He wore a gray sweat shirt with green Army fatigue-style pants. The woman is white, in her early 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with light brown hair. She wore a black cap, navy sweat shirt and black pants.
