An article in the Arts & Society section on Sunday, Dec. 22, may have created confusion about the timing of a decision by Cardinal William Keeler to reinstate the Rev. Maurice Blackwell at St. Edward's Church after Dontee Stokes' allegations of molestation against Blackwell. Keeler sent Blackwell back to St. Edward's in December 1993, several months before a lay board advised him that the priest's reinstatement posed an "unacceptable risk."
