Comcast promotes Gehrig to regional senior V.P.
Comcast Cable Communications has appointed Barbara A. Gehrig regional senior vice president for the company's Maryland/Delaware region. Gehrig had been the region's vice president, and is responsible for all strategic planning. She serves on the board of several organizations, including the Greater Baltimore Committee, Cowley Shock Trauma Center and the Living Classrooms Foundation.

Mary Ellen Lewis joins Susquehanna Bank
Susquehanna Bank announced that Mary Ellen Lewis was named vice president of real estate lending for the Baltimore-based bank. She will focus on increasing the bank's real estate customer base. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, the Roland Park resident is active with the United Way of Central Maryland and the Maryland Home Builders Association.

St. Agnes appoints Conley to human relations post
St. Agnes HealthCare appointed Thomas C. Conley as vice president of human resources. Conley, who had been with Bon Secours Baltimore Health System, holds a master's degree in management and supervision from Central Michigan University.

Wendler an assistant V.P. at Baltimore brokerage
Riggs, Counselman, Michaels & Downes appointed Eric Wendler as an assistant vice president of the Baltimore-based insurance brokerage and risk management specialists. He is responsible for developing new accounts and offering additional services to the firm's existing clients. Formerly with PricewaterhouseCoopers, he is a graduate of Shippensburg University.
