Worth watching: Rookie RB William Green leads Browns with 709 rushing yards (3.3 avg.). RB Warrick Dunn leads Falcons with 860 rushing yards (4.1 avg.).

Outlook: The Browns have not had much of a home-field advantage, while the Falcons have been more than competitive on the road (4-2-1). A win puts the Falcons in the playoffs. Cleveland needs to win and get some help.

Minnesota (5-10) at Detroit (3-12)

Time: 1 p.m. today.

Line: Vikings by 3 1/2 .

Last meeting: Vikings won, 31-24, at Minnesota on Oct. 13.

Carolina (6-9) at New Orleans (9-6)

Time: 1 p.m. today.

Line: Saints by 7.

Last meeting: Saints won, 34-24, at Carolina on Nov. 10.

Worth watching: RB Deuce McAllister leads NFC with 1,271 rushing yards (4.3 avg.). WR Joe Horn leads Saints with 84 catches, seven for TDs.

Outlook: The Saints' 29th-ranked defense has put pressure on the offense all season, and Carolina brings the No. 4-ranked defense to New Orleans, which has a shot at a wild-card berth.

Jacksonville (6-9) at Indianapolis (9-6)

Time: 4:05 p.m. today.

TV: Ch. 9.

Line: Off the board.

Last meeting: Colts won, 28-25, at Jacksonville on Sept. 8.

Key stat: Colts are 4-3 at home.

Worth watching: Jaguars QB Mark Brunell has thrown 17 TD passes vs. seven interceptions. Colts QB Peyton Manning has thrown 26 TD passes vs. 19 interceptions.

Outlook: The Colts will grab a wild-card berth with a win, and they may not have to face Brunell, who has a hamstring injury. Rookie David Garrard would take his place.

Arizona (5-10) at Denver (8-7)

Time: 4:15 p.m. today.

Line: Broncos by 11.

Last meeting: Broncos won, 38-17, at Arizona on Sept. 23, 2001.

Key stat: Broncos have lost four of their past five.

Worth watching: QB Steve Beuerlein (four TD passes vs. five interceptions) may get a chance to lead the Broncos into the playoffs. Cardinals QB Jake Plummer has thrown only 17 TD passes vs. 20 interceptions.

Outlook: The Broncos could be eliminated from playoff consideration before game begins. They need to win and then get plenty of help. Will Denver's late-season switch to Beuerlein work?

Green Bay (12-3) at N.Y. Jets (8-7)

Time: 4:15 p.m. today.

TV: Chs. 45, 5.

Worth watching: RB Curtis Martin leads Jets with 1,011 rushing yards (4.2 avg.). Packers RB Ahman Green has rushed for 1,173 (4.3 avg.).

Outlook: The Packers have lost an occasional key road game, but they're 3-1 in outdoor road games this year. The Jets have shown great resilience and will win the AFC East if the Dolphins lose to the Patriots and New York beats the Packers.

Seattle (6-9) at San Diego (8-7)

Time: 4:15 p.m. today.

Line: Chargers by 3.

Last meeting: Seahawks won, 25-22, at San Diego on Dec. 30, 2001.

Key stat: Seahawks have beaten Chargers four straight.

Worth watching: Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander leads NFC with 15 rushing TDs. Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson has 14.

Outlook: The Chargers go into the day with a shot at the playoffs, but they'll need a win and lots of help. Will their old AFC West rivals spoil it for them?

Tampa Bay (11-4) at Chicago (4-11)

Time: 8:30 p.m. today.

TV: ESPN.

Line: Bucs by 7.

Last meeting: Bears won, 27-3, at Soldier Field on Dec. 16, 2001.

Key stat: Bears have won three straight over Bucs.

Worth watching: Bucs DE Simeon Rice leads NFC with 15 1/2 sacks. LB Roosevelt Colvin leads Bears with 10 1/2 .

Outlook: With the Eagles' loss, the Bucs have a shot to lock up top seed in the NFC, even if Green Bay wins. So, the Bucs will have all the incentive they need. And if the weather turns colder than expected, they could win in sub-40-degree temperatures for the first time in their 27-year history.
