The Maryland Orioles 16-and-under baseball team will conduct a series of workout sessions at the Carroll Indoor Sports Center beginning Jan. 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. The workouts are designed to improve fundamental skills and give players a head start on the 2003 season. The 12-year-old Harford Sox of the Baltimore Metro Baseball League are seeking baseball players to complete the team's 2003 roster. To be eligible, players cannot turn 13 before Aug. 1, 2003.
