The Boney Fingers, Shaw Brothers to perform at Baldwin's
Uptown Concerts is sponsoring weeknight performances by folk musicians at Baldwin's Station in Sykesville.
The Boney Fingers will play Jan. 8. Their repertoire includes bluegrass, folk, country, rock and jazz. Tickets are $14.
The Shaw Brothers will perform Jan. 15. Rick and Ron Shaw have been singing for 30 years and have been members of the Brandywine Singers, Hillside Singers and Pozo Seco Singers. They recorded I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing in 1972. Tickets are $20.
Shows will begin at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for seating. Advance tickets are required.

IIIrd Tyme Out to play at Eichelberger center
Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover, Pa., will present the bluegrass group IIIrd Tyme Out at 8 p.m. Jan. 11.
For the past seven years, IIIrd Tyme Out has been named the International Bluegrass Music Association's Vocal Group of the Year. The group also received the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America's Vocal Group of the Year award this year.
Wayne Benson, a member of the group, was named SPBGMA Mandolin Player of the Year this year.
Iron Ridge, a local group, will open for IIIrd Tyme Out.
