Walter Sr., Daniel

On Monday, December 23, DANIEL WALTER SR., 80, of Fork, MD, died at his sons home in Red Lion, PA, husband of the late Charlotte (nee Lam) Walter. He is survived by one son Daniel Walter, Jr., of Red Lion, PA, three grandchildren, one great-grandson, two sisters Rose Bradish and Helen Wheeler both of FL and one sister-in-law, Ida Walter. Mr Walter was a finish carpenter and was employed by several different building contractors in the Baltimore area. He was a cook in the Coast Guard and at Hollys Restaurant in Baltimore. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 A.M at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown, PA. Burial will be in St. Johns (Sadlers) Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. Viewing will be 7 to 9 PM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Avenue, York, PA, 17403.
